CONDENSER
Process 2 - 3
After leaving the compressor, the refrigerant then goes to the coils in the condenser. While in the condenser, water from the cooling towers flows over the coils and removes heat from the R-134a. This loss of heat from the system causes the R-134a gas to condense until it is a saturated liquid. The refrigerant will now go to the expansion valve the hot water that heated the R-134a will be returned to the cooling towers to be used again.
